We will be involved in mission efforts around the world through church planting. We care about the nations because it brings glory to God, good for the nations, and disciples our people. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8)

 

CHURCH PLANTING

Village Church is all about glorifying God by making, growing, and sending disciples of Christ. God commanded us to fulfill this mission and he even gave us the method in which to do it—plant disciple making churches! We believe that disciples make churches and churches make disciples. A commitment to a multiplication of churches moves us from the mind set of adding to our own numbers and into the world of multiplying our impact. That’s why planting churches is at the heart of our strategy at Village. 

 

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

Because we are for the city and for the world, we want to plant and support churches locally, nationally and globally. In order to do that sustainabily, we desire to "send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God, 7 since they set out for the sake of the Name" (3 John 1:6-7 CSB).

The H Family
Central Asia

The H Family was sent from among our church in 2025 with the vision to plant a church among an unreached people group in rural Central Asia.

 

Prayer Requests:

- Missions team growth and shared vision of ministry

- Health concerns such as air quality, access to medicine, and nutrition

- Spiritual life and health of mom and dad as they balance a life of ministry and raising their four girls

The Upstream Collective
"The church sends. We help."

The Upstream Collective is a missions organization with one vision — to help churches send well.

They do this in two ways: 

​By EQUIPPING the church with practical tools and relational support—resources, books, cohorts, coaching, and training that develop a culture of sending.

By SENDING the church as a missions agency that prioritizes relationships, keeping the local church central in every step of sending and missions engagement.

Village Church has been a member of the Upstream Sending Church Network since 2023 and recommend them for any church seeking to send well and fulfill the Great Commission
